Actively Parenting Children...
...When actively parenting, it takes a whole lot of effort and thinking (and overthinking ) on our collective parts to do a good job.
We are all trying our very best at every life stage to do the right thing as we raise our children. Really, if we don't do it...who will?
From music lessons to dance competitions; from hockey tryouts to volunteering, its easy to feel overwhelmed! There are so many choices...so many demands on us and our kids.
When do we push? When do we back off?
As parents, we know there's only a short window of opportunity to influence and guide our children before they leave the nest. I think that is part of what adds to the exhausting part of parenting kids.
Anthony and I have observed over the years that our DeGazon Music families share very similar values to ourselves - not exactly the same sometimes, but at the core...moms and dads want the best for their kids.

We are with you as Anthony and I together parent our three children. We face similar challenges, self-doubts and yes, mistakes. But that's all part of it. The key is to keep going and learn from our mistakes, making us wiser and (hopefully) better equipped for our next child parenting challenge.
The opportunity to work with such wonderful families like yours is a pleasure. Let's cheer each other on in raising our children to be the best they can be offering them a rich life experience.
